CarrHomes has completed eight shelter projects – and is currently working on another project this year in Springfield, VA.
CarrHomes has invested nearly $100,000 in the community and nearly all projects were 100% donated.
CarrHomes’ current project will provide housing for three adults with serious mental illness. Over the past decade, their projects have provided over 200 people with a safe and stable place to live. Many more people will continue to benefit from their long-lasting work.
IMPACT
Families and individuals experiencing homelessness who move into these homes and shelters have a safe, stable place to live and access to enriched programming that empowers them to become self-sufficient.
Funds saved on each project go into educational programs and other training to help clients get back on their feet.
The new shelters and homes are a source of pride for the community.
